These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Luxelane LA website and private chauffeur services. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Service Description
Luxelane LA provides premium private chauffeur services in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Our services include standard point-to-point rides, hourly charters, airport transfers, and transportation for special events and corporate engagements. All rides are operated by professional, licensed chauffeurs.
Booking Terms
- All bookings must be made in advance through our website or by contacting us directly.
- Bookings are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability. We will confirm your reservation as soon as possible after submission.
- You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, date, time, and contact information.
- A minimum advance notice of 12 hours is required for new bookings.
Payment & Pricing
Upfront Payment — When you book a ride with Luxelane LA, you are charged the full amount at the time of booking. Your payment is processed securely by Stripe. You will see the exact price before confirming.
Your Price Includes:
- Base fare and distance-based pricing for your route
- Professional chauffeur service
- Up to 15 minutes of complimentary wait time at pickup
- All tolls included in the quoted price
Cancellations & Refunds
- 12+ hours before pickup: Full refund.
- Within 12 hours of pickup: 50% refund.
- No-show: No refund.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Actual timing depends on your bank.
Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 14 days. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days. We ask that you reach out to us directly before initiating a dispute with your bank so we can resolve it quickly.
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent:
- Free cancellation: You may cancel your booking at no charge up to 12 hours before your scheduled pickup time.
- Late cancellation: Cancellations made within 12 hours of pickup are subject to a charge of 50% of the estimated fare.
- No-show: If you do not appear at the pickup location or fail to cancel in advance, the full estimated fare will be charged.
- Waiting time: Your chauffeur will wait up to 15 minutes at the pickup location at no additional charge. Additional waiting time may be billed at the hourly rate ($75/hour).
To cancel or modify a booking, please contact us by phone or email. We will always try to accommodate changes when possible.
Force Majeure
In cases of severe weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control, we may need to cancel or modify your booking. In such cases, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days.
Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must be ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time.
- Passengers are expected to treat the vehicle and chauffeur with respect.
- Any damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger may result in additional charges.
- Smoking is not permitted in any Luxelane LA vehicle.
Limitation of Liability
Luxelane LA provides transportation services with reasonable care and professionalism. However, we are not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, road closures, weather events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
