Luxelane LA ("we," "us," or "our") operates a premium private chauffeur service in the Los Angeles area. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

  • Payment information: When you book a ride, your payment card details are transmitted directly to and stored by our PCI DSS-compliant payment processor, Stripe. Luxelane LA does not store or retain your full card number on our servers. We store your Stripe Customer ID and Payment Method ID for booking verification purposes. These are tokenized identifiers managed by Stripe and do not contain your actual card numbers. You may request deletion of these identifiers at any time.   • Usage data: basic information about how you interact with our website, such as pages visited

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your booking requests
  • Communicate with you about your reservations, including confirmations and updates
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

  • Comply with legal obligations

Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate our business:

  • Google Maps: used for address lookup, route calculation, and distance estimation. Your pickup and drop-off addresses are sent to Google for this purpose. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
  • Email service: we use EmailJS (emailjs.com) to send booking confirmations and communications. Your name and email address are shared with this provider solely for delivery of these messages.

Subprocessors

The following third-party services process personal data on our behalf:

  • Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing
  • Google Maps Platform — address validation and routing
  • Google Calendar — scheduling and availability
  • EmailJS (emailjs.com) — booking confirmation emails
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain booking records and associated personal information for legitimate business purposes, including accounting, customer service, and legal compliance. Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Booking records: 7 years (tax/legal compliance)
  • Contact information: 3 years after last booking
  • Payment records: 7 years (financial regulations)
  • Analytics data: 1 year

Upon a deletion request, personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. To request deletion of your data, please contact us using the information below.

Data Security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our servers. We take reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

What Google Analytics may collect

Generic, non-personal usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, device/browser type, and approximate location (city level). We do not send Google any personal information — names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, booking IDs, payment details, or trip locations are never included in analytics events.

  • Accept All — turns on analytics cookies.
  • Reject All — only the necessary cookies are used; nothing is sent to Google Analytics.
  • Customize — lets you toggle analytics on or off individually.
